What has happened in Japan over the past 10 days eclipse the horror of Australia and NZ combined. This not to lessen the pain experienced by other victims here in the South Pacific, but the scale and magnitude of the Land of the Rising Sun's disaster thwart all thus far in 2011 As if the earthquake wasn't enough then in rolled the seas, viciously stirred up by the movement of those plates we keep hearing of lately barely a thing could stand against it. It appears thousands have died in the murderous waters. It doesn't stop there though as the nuclear plants are in serious trouble and south in this troubled country a volcano has recommenced spewing out its muck up to 4 KLM into the atmosphere. This has to be a fearful time for all in that region! |
