The Apostle Paul covers a lot of issues in the letter to the Ephesians, from the mystery of Christ through to gifts of (and not to grieve) the Spirit of God. From practical exhortation for the new person in Christ to putting on the whole armour of God. In chapter 6 he also discusses parenthood and employee, employer relations, but it is in the latter part of chapter 5 which I want to concentrate on. Marriage

It is often said the wedding day is the Brides day. Her demeanor and dress complemented by the Bridesmaids enhances her attractiveness. She is to be finally with the one she loves the most
She has longed for this day
It couldn't come fast enough
The Bride of Christ too longs for that day of His return, the courtship has been protracted
The Bridegroom is the unquestionable head of the church and on that day the Bride will look spectacular dressed in the cloth of eternity, without spot or wrinkle
The crown (1 Cor 9v25, James 1v12 & Rev2v10) upon this Brides head will sparkle. It will be the first time it has ever been worn. The reflected light will pierce even the darkest of shadows.
Victory at last
United for ever
Heaven is at rest
The Bride is home safe
Forever in the arms of a most faithful Bridegroom
Blessings
